Those with a mutual interest in art can share ideas and socialize.  Lessons in both classical and experimental techniques in drawing, painting, mixed media, paper collage and more are taught.  Designed to encourage childrens' natural creativity and also enrich their knowledge and skills, this class emphasizes more sophisticated aspects of art including some history:  still life, gray scale, under painting, composition, uses of tone and hue to name a few topics will be covered. Creating art empowers a child when they realize they are capable individuals with a meaningful, unique voice.  

Dress for a mess or wear a smock please.
