NEW FORMAT & START TIME:  Thursday’s Zumba classes will now be 1 hour of Latin-inspired Zumba dance routines with about 4 or 5 toning songs.  These toning songs can be done with or without weights; however, if using hand weights, bring 1 or 1½ pound weights (shaker weights, if possible).  You’ll keep dancing and moving while adding some resistance in various ways to help build more muscle and burn more fat!  Come join us for a great way to have fun while burning calories and getting toned.For those of you who still want some traditional floor work, there will be an optional 10-15 minutes after the Zumba Hour finishes to work on some of our key body parts.  Please note, this ab workout incurs an additional fee.  Come check it out!!Not sure if you want to sign up for the class?  Try a ONE TIME drop in fee of $15 to try the class before you sign up for the session or for our Exercise Pass Card.  Drop Ins are ONLY allowed 1 time.

Tae Kwon Do & Jiu Jitsu - The benefits of Tae Kwon Do instruction are endless!  Participants learn and develop all of the techniques for defense including: kicking, punching, blocking, grappling, and proper falls.  Offered at the Recreation Center for over 25 years, Sensei John McDonald helps his students learn discipline, respect, self control and gain confidence - all while getting a great workout!  Instructor: John McDonald is currently a 4th degree black belt with vast years of experience. Please note:  No jewelry, pierced earrings, necklaces, etc,. permitted in class.Participants tested for the appropriate level of training for Tae Kwon Do class.
