Learn , Play, & Have Fun!New to Pickleball or already playing but unsure about all the rules? This fun and interactive instructional class is perfect for beginners and casual players looking to build confidence on the court. We’ll break down the basics—rules, techniques, scoring, and strategy—in a relaxed and supportive environment. Whether you’re swinging a paddle for the first time or just want to sharpen your skills, this class will have you feeling comfortable and ready to jump into the game!Paddles and balls are supplied. Pre-registration is required.To ensure player safety, the Parks and Recreation Team will be taping courts before each class so participants can enjoy a smooth, safe court. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the nation...and now it's here in Northampton!  This mini-tennis game is a mix of tennis, badminton and ping pong for two to four players.  It's easy to learn and fun for all ages!  If you are interested in trying something new, fun and social, and/or enjoy a workout, this is the sport for you!Instructional Clinic -  A beginner / advanced beginner friendly class focused on learning the rules, techniques, and fundamentals of pickleball in a relaxed, supportive setting. Perfect for new or casual players.Competitive Play - Designed for intermediate to experienced players looking for fast-paced games and strategic play.
