Local casting director, Kathy Wickline, created these original and industry-accurate specialty camps. Kathy Wickline holds over 10,000 credits including Academy Award winning feature films, commercials, and TV shows. All courses are taught by industry professionals
Acting and Behind the Scenes
Learn what it takes to introduce your child to this exciting industry. It is here that they will work as a cast and crew member in this innovative, cool camp. Kids are taught the basic levels of acting, directing, voice-over, operating the camera. Script writing, storyboarding and improvisation will also be introduced. Each day is different as they create fun projects; commercials, film scenes, music videos and public service announcements. A huge benefit of this camp is increasing memory, reading skills, working in teams and confidence-building. They will truly learn the basics of the biz.
After camp, all footage is sent to a professional editor. A digital film keepsake will be emailed to you (Allow up to 3 months editing) Materials Needed: A Notebook, Pen and Pencil Edited Digital Keepsake $35 is included in the fee
All specialty camps risk being cancelled if the minimum number of participants is not met at least one week prior to the first scheduled day. Therefore, do not register for this program if your child needs to be in a program while you are at work. We can not guarantee that this program will take place.
General Information
- Early Resident Savings –(ERS) Northampton Residents registering at least one week prior to the start date of the program will pay the Early Resident Savings Fee (ERS). The ERS fee is not listed below, but will appear during the checkout process. Mail in registrations must be postmarked at least one week prior to the start of the class in order to receive this savings.
