Strong and Stable
This class integrates upper and lower body strengthening exercises with movement patterns that require balance and stability.  Participants can expect to improve total body strength, core stability, static and dynamic balance, flexibility, and overall functional fitness. A strong emphasis is placed on mindfulness, proper form, and breathing.  Please bring a set of handheld weights and a mat for floor exercises. Participants may choose not to use weights and to perform floor exercises seated in a chair instead.  All exercises can be easily modified to accommodate every participant.

  • Early Resident Savings –(ERS) Northampton Residents registering at least one week prior to the start date of the program will pay the Early Resident Savings Fee (ERS). The ERS fee is not listed below, but will appear during the checkout process. Mail in registrations must be postmarked at least one week prior to the start of the class in order to receive this savings.
