Field hockey is an amazing Olympic sport that features eye-hand coordination, athleticism, discipline, and quick thinking. Our Indoor Field Hockey Skills and Games, will be held in our weather-perfect indoor facility. Its smooth "be successful" surface is ideal for young field hockey players.
Grades 2-5, 6-9
Each session starts with a dynamic warm-up for injury prevention and performance. We’ll build core field hockey skills—ball control, dribbling, dodging, passing, receiving, defending—and then put them to work in coached small-sided games. Players learn team concepts, compete to win, and track their progress—all in a fun, supportive atmosphere.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Field hockey stick, shin pads, mouth guard, and field hockey ball.
Instructor: Bridget Schaeffer
Bridget Schaeffer: Coach Bridget is a physical education teacher; she is First Aid, CPR, and AED certified. Bridget has both Varsity Field Hockey coaching and umpiring experience, along with being championship middle school field hockey coach and more than 15 years of youth sports coaching.
