In this playful and imaginative theater camp, young performers will explore acting, movement, and improvisation through familiar nursery rhymes and beloved storybooks. Using classics like The Three Little Pigs, Mary Had a Little Lamb, and simple, expressive stories such as The Day the Crayons Quit, children will bring characters to life through dramatic play. Students will engage in guided role-play, simple scripts, call-and-response activities, and creative movement designed especially for early learners. The focus is on fun, confidence-building, and self-expression, not memorization or performance pressure.
This camp supports early literacy, social-emotional development, and creative expression in a warm, encouraging environment where every child gets a chance to shine—whether they’re huffing and puffing like a pig or speaking up like a colorful crayon.

Bring a snack and dress comfortably. Please wear sneakers.
All specialty camps risk being cancelled if the minimum number of participants is not met at least one week prior to the first scheduled day. Therefore, do not register for this program if your child needs to be in a program while you are at work. We can not guarantee that this program will take place.

- Early Resident Savings –(ERS) Northampton Residents registering at least one week prior to the start date of the program will pay the Early Resident Savings Fee (ERS). The ERS fee is not listed below, but will appear during the checkout process. Mail in registrations must be postmarked at least one week prior to the start of the class in order to receive this savings.
