Discover the expressive possibilities of handmade paper through five immersive studio sessions. Participants will explore traditional and contemporary paper arts, including faux paper techniques, sheet forming, momigami (kneaded paper), and Korean joomchi. Through experimentation with texture, color, structure, and form, students will develop a personal understanding of paper as both a surface and a sculptural medium.
By the end of the course, students will have created a collection of unique paper artworks.
