Never Forget: 25 Years of Remembrance Motor Coach Trip to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum
Join Northampton Township Parks & Recreation for a meaningful day of remembrance as we visit the National September 11 Memorial & Museum during the 25th Anniversary year of the September 11, 2001 attacks.
Located at the site of the former World Trade Center, the Memorial honors the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the attacks with two breathtaking reflecting pools set within the footprints of the Twin Towers. The Museum offers a moving and educational experience through powerful artifacts, personal stories, multimedia exhibits, and historical displays that preserve the memory of those affected while exploring the lasting impact of that day.
To enhance your visit, each participant will receive a set of headphones, allowing you to experience the museum's self-guided audio tour at your own pace. As you explore the exhibits, you'll be able to pause, reflect, and spend as much time as you'd like at the displays that are most meaningful to you.
This reflective trip provides an opportunity to honor the victims, recognize the courage of first responders, and gain a deeper understanding of one of the most significant events in our nation's history. Whether you experienced September 11 firsthand or are learning about its legacy, this visit serves as a powerful reminder of resilience, compassion, and the importance of never forgetting.
Following our museum visit, you'll have free time to explore the surrounding World Trade Center area, including the Memorial Plaza, Oculus, or enjoy lunch on your own before boarding the motor coach for our return home.
