Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the cracks with a golden bond. This practice emphasizes beauty in imperfection, celebrating history and uniqueness rather than hiding flaws.  While traditional Kintsugi uses lacquer and gold powder, we’ll be using modern materials to ensure a comfortable and accessible experience. For this reason, your finished piece is intended for decorative use only (not food/water/heat safe).  Each piece becomes a one-of-a-kind work of art.   Materials may stain, so please "dress for mess".$10 materials fee due to instructor the first day of class.You may take your piece home that evening if stable to move, but most participants opt to dry overnight to be picked up at the Senior Center the following day. Think you’ve got what it takes to conquer the puzzle table? Join us for a fun-filled night of pieces, prizes, and plenty of laughs at our Teen Puzzle Palooza!Gather your crew—teams of 2–4 are welcome, so bring your best puzzle partners. Only one person from each team needs to sign up, making it easy to lock in your spot for the challenge.Everyone will receive the same puzzle, and once the clock starts, your team will have 2 hours to put your skills to the test. Will you be the first to finish? Or maybe just the team with the best strategy? Either way, it’s all about having fun and enjoying the challenge together.Prizes will be awarded, refreshments will be served, and the best part—you get to keep your puzzle at the end of the night!Doors open at 5:30 PM, and the puzzling begins promptly at 6:00 PM. Bring your game face, your teamwork, and maybe your lucky puzzle-solving vibes!
