At the start of each season, participants are drafted by team captains, following a scrimmage to show off their skills. Games begin the following week. Registration fills up quickly, and no additional players may join after the completion of the draft. If a player is drafted as a goalie, the household will be issued a $25.00 credit. If you haven't played on a team in the league the last 4 seasons, you are required to attend and play in the 8:00 PM scrimmage on the night of the draft for the current season. If you do not, you risk losing your spot to someone else.Games will have three 15-minute periods. For regular season games, a 5-minute OT will be played in the case of a tie. If there is no scoring during the OT, the game will end in a tie with each team receiving one point. (There are no shootouts.) Cancellations will be posted on Facebook. It will be the responsibility of the captain to make sure players on their team are aware of any delay or cancellation. Spectators (including player friends and family) are prohibited from addressing refs and players especially in a confrontational, rude, critical or hostile manner. Spectators are also forbidden from entering the playing court. Any spectator that breaks either of these rules will be ejected from the facility, possibly permanently. Furthermore, players who break these rules could result in having their being given misconduct penalties. Contact Scott at northamptonfloorhockey@gmail.com for more information. * Reasonable efforts will be made to make up games cancelled due to weather, etc., but makeup games are not guaranteed and may not be possible due to facility and scheduling constraints.

Chakradance: Freedom 'Dance Your Dominion' Workshop - Chakradance Workshop Chakradance is a movement therapy that takes the tradition of spiritual dance into the present. There is no genre or choreography; you are dancing as if no one is watching; with modern chakra resonant music in a sacred space. Chakradance puts you in touch with sacred wisdom, both within yourself and throughout the universe, empowering your deepest soul connection. This workshop is a blend of freeform dance guided chakra resonant music, taking you on a journey through each Chakra then circling up for Mandala Art. The workshop begins with intentional meditation, and then you will be guided through the Chakras while you move together in the collective. The dance is blindfolded; without choreography; not poise or perfection we move primally, playfully allowing our inner spirit arise! Chakradance moves these energies and emotions up and out as we create space within ourselves, deepening into uncharted territory and reclaiming our domain. We realize that movement is where our mind can be most focused with direct precision & expansion simultaneously. Cold pressed juices and light nourishment is offered.Instructor: Jessica Chung Licensed Chakradance Facilitator
