Tarot for BeginnersThis is a beginners class for anyone interested in the fascinating and esoteric world of Tarot.  You'll learn all the meanings of the cards and their symbols, plus various layouts and types of readings.  Requirement for the class-HAVE YOUR OWN DECK which should be the Rider-Waite deck since the lessons refer to that particular deck.  Always buy a new deck, not used.  The class runs for 6 weeks, meeting once a week. Tarot for Beginners Part 2This class will continue with new spreads, card combinations, how to figure out  someone's career, and focusing on transferring the meaning of one suit to another.  It will also begin to focus on symbolism and color.  This is mostly as a continuation for people who recently completed Part 1 but is open to anyone who may have general knowledge of the cards and wish to explore further into this mysterious art form and improve their skills. Thursday Night belongs to Northampton Adult Floor Hockey!  At the start of each season, participants are drafted by team captains, following a scrimmage to show off their skills.  Games begin the following week.  Registration fills up quickly, and no additional players may join after the completion of the draft.  If a player is drafted as a goalie, the household will be issued a $25.00 credit. If you haven't played on a team in the league the last 4 seasons, you are required to attend and play in the 8:00 PM scrimmage on the night of the draft for the current season.  If you do not, you risk losing your spot to someone else.Games will have three 15-minute periods. For regular season games, a 5-minute OT will be played in the case of a tie. If there is no scoring during the OT, the game will end in a tie with each team receiving one point. (There are no shootouts.) Cancellations will be posted on Facebook.  It will be the responsibility of the captain to make sure players on their team are aware of any delay or cancellation.  Spectators (including player friends and family) are prohibited from addressing refs and players especially in a confrontational, rude, critical or hostile manner.  Spectators are also forbidden from entering the playing court.  Any spectator that breaks either of these rules will be ejected from the facility, possibly permanently.  Furthermore, players who break these rules could result in having their being given misconduct penalties.  Contact Scott at northamptonfloorhockey@gmail.com for more information. * Reasonable efforts will be made to make up games cancelled due to weather, etc., but makeup games are not guaranteed and may not be possible due to facility and scheduling constraints.

Ages 15 & upLearn the skills needed to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help a person until EMS arrives.  This course teaches students information needed to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in an adult in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.  Heartsaver First Aid teaches you the basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills.Instructor:  Jay Colella, NRP

They’ll build endurance and learn about sprinting and different Olympic race lengths as well. All in all, this will help your child build for general (or track specific) sport success. This instructional and recreational volleyball camp is open to boys and girls ages 7–12. Throughout the week, campers will explore the fundamentals of volleyball through action-packed sessions designed for beginner and intermediate players. Participants will learn and practice passing, setting, hitting, blocking, and serving, along with basic offense, defense, positioning, and team strategy. Whether your child is an experienced player or a complete beginner, they will have a blast learning the game in a fun, positive, and supportive environment. Discover the joy of gelli plate printing in this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop. Gelli printing is a playful, experimental form of printmaking that requires no prior experience and produces beautiful, one-of-a-kind prints. Participants will explore layering, texture, and mark-making using paint, stencils, stamps, and found objects. You’ll learn techniques such as sgraffito, stamping and impressions, masking, and building layered prints, all while embracing the unexpected and letting go of perfection. This workshop is designed for beginners, and focuses on creative exploration rather than technical mastery. We will work on 5x3" plates to allow for better control of the medium, more experimentation, and more prints! 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM    American Red Cross Babysitting Certification Course (ages 11-16) - American Red Cross Babysitting Certification Course
This course gives future and current babysitters the confidence and skills they need to care for children safely and responsibly. Participants will learn how to be medically responsible, creative, and attentive babysitters while gaining essential child care techniques and leadership abilities.   Topics include basic safety, emergency awareness, and introductory care techniques for children. Through hands-on activities and discussion, participants will build the confidence to handle real-life situations with care and professionalism.   Upon successful completion, participants will earn an official American Red Cross Babysitting Certification Card and demonstrate their understanding of key child care and safety concepts.     Attendance for the entire course, completion of all evaluations, and maturity to care for children independently are required.  Please bring a lunch and a pen or pencil to class.   *the Red Cross Babysitting Course does not include CPR certification
